I overslept from the designated time which I was supposed to get my ass off the bed. But apparently I was still 20mins early for my interview. Million thanks to Starhub who taught me the essence of choosing a job to the nearest proximity. Woahaha. >=)
Kia-su me thought I would take 10-15mins to get there but the genius side of me got me to my place in like 5mins. Oh alright alright I did speed a little. Kind of. Oops. =X
I've actually been to 2 different interviews at Childcare Centre before.
(I lied to them I haven been to 1). Reason being,
The first principal totally freaked me out when she could critic on any single thing she manages to pick & oh did I also mention while she was interviewing me halfway, she screamed. & I literally mean S-C-R-E-A-M at a poor boy from right inside the office through the closed glass doors. O.O"
Woe is bound to betide on anyone who decides to work with her. Trust me on that.
The other one which is located near Bugis were paying peanuts I felt like I could have been better off being a toilet supervisor. =X
THIS time round, the principal Ms Tang's a lao chio really. & she's seems really nice as expected when I spoke to her yesterday. Impressed they indeed were, with my tutoring experiences & vast number of part-time jobs but were equally perplexed when they contradicted completely from my educational achievements so far. Woahaha.
Well well, though I've been doing pretty deep into the education industry, getting tied down on a particular job scope by a specialized qualification was never one of my intent which explains my
very general degree - BSc Management.
Anyhow, I'm pretty skeptical about the job now. I'm afraid. Just afraid I know. But eventually, I know I'm able to take it. (That is, if I even manages to clinch the job.) Tutoring one to one and teaching as a class is nearly as contrasting as Yin & Yang. I worked this out through my more than 1.5 years of experience as a tutor.
- Tutoring
- Childcare Teacher
Anyway, we shall just see how it goes. When there's a will, there's a way. (:
I was elated yesterday when Owen's granny sms-ed me telling me how grateful and appreciative they were for me helping Owen to score a nap shot 85 for his CA2 Maths Paper. I started tutoring him 3mths ago when he was about to take his SA1 paper. If I'm not wrong, he had either 62 or 67 the other time. This time round, a great jump of almost 20marks! Woahaha. I am so damn happy for Owen and I am damn proud of myself.
I was so motivated yesterday that I told myself, if I can make a difference to the lives of others, I ought to be doing the same to mine. Yes yes? =D
Anyway I'm so so tired today... Usually when I don't get enough sleep, my dark circles would be here to haunt. Definitely. But when I'm really tired to the max, my eyes would be red. Today, I woke up with blood shot eyes. Whoa. It was scary. It's still red now though it's better but I look like I'm going to cry any time anywhere with my teary-reddish eyes. Wohahaha. =X
Gonna go for brunch soon with dad & Xuan then I'll take us to school later. Sociology lesson in school. Damn sian... It's freaking freaking boring I tell you. I dread sociology lessons really. I MEAN IT! Aargghhh....
After school will be meeting Xav & Gang for chill out session in town. We're planning to chill out at some live band places with a drink or two. Woo Hoo! I cannotttttttt WAITTTT!!!!
Tomorrow tuition the whole afternoon.
Friday meeting Jieying.
Sat night gathering at Alps Cafe with my side - the girls: Dada, Xuan, Jieying, Lorraine, Rina to finish up our half bottle of Chivas. With Ying & I around, peng & alvin should be coming along. Wondering if there's any others coming on boyfriend's side? Anyway thanks for all your confirmation lovelies! See you all very soon!
Despite all the fun, I need to squeeze QT out. To study.
I need to study. I need to study. I need to study!!
