Good times always pass so quickly.. I really enjoyed the past 2 days despite the very shitty New Year's Eve. Hopefully that's a sign of all the shit that I have to face so it's over and now it's a brand new year and brand new wonderful beginnings! X)
CNY Day 1
Happy Happy Day!!
Happy Happy Day!!
I was the first to wake up in my house at as early as 845am can you believe it. Haha.. Because every year daddy have to rush me because I wake up late and am always the slowest.. =XX This year, it's a change! My daddy said this year,"Whoa~ You're fast." Haha! *wink wink* ;p
I said in one of my long-ago-post that I'm going to be a pretty princess all over again this year because last year I was an ugly duckling due to the stupid idea of "online shopping" so basically all my clothes sucked and I looked no different from a pile of cow dung. =O
Anyhow, so I made an effort to wake up early to doll myself up on the first day. Hehe. =p
Went over to granny's and spent couple of hours there, then peng peng came to pick me up with he's family and headed to he's granny's followed by he's aunt's.. First Chinese New Year with my boy, wasn't too bad an experience though I was very very very, notice I said 3 times of VERY shy..... =XX Haha. Oops.
After all the visiting, boyfriend and I met up with Jason and he's girlfriend(shit I forgot her name AGAIN. =X) @ AMK Hub. Chilled around @ MOS Burger for about an hour and walked over to jubilee to watch 'Ah Long Pte Ltd'. This is the first movie that boyfriend and I watched together so I was pretty excited considering it was on the first day of CNY!! Happy happy girl.. =DD
I thought that the show was damn good.. It's so freaking hilarious I could almost fall off my seat laughing... Comical shows make me laugh like mad therefore making me a very happy girl! Contrary to the reviews given in the newspaper rating this show 1/2 a popcorn outta 5, I rate it 4.5 outta 5!!
Just to sidetrack a little....
==========
This show actually kind of portray the 'coolness' of loan sharks and so I personally feel that it's the government's doing behind this poor rating. =X I mean, which body of the government would want a sky high increase in the number of loan sharks in the country? C'mon, it's only a movie, directed by Jack Neo, who's well known for all the comedies by the famous comical faces like Ah Lam, Lee Guo Huang, etc. Anyway, this is just my little assumption which does not have any factual evidence. So, yea.. I might just prolly be too judgmental with regards to political issues? Who knows~ Haha.. ;)==========
Boyfriend and I have been making things up between the both of us and things have been going very well, in fact maybe even way better than before.. Which is something really good. It makes me really sad and bothered when things aren't going well for us.. =( Well, but I'm glad that we overcomed it all and with these changes for the brand new year, marks a brand new beginning for the both of us... The road ahead of us may not be smooth-sailing every single day but I believe come what may, we will walk through it hand in hand simply because we have already set our hearts on each other. (:
To sum the day up, it was the best & happiest day of my year so far.. X)

Aargghhhh~

Lol. ;)

CNY Day 2
Boyfriend came over to my place to bai nian to my daddy in the afternoon.
Then we went out to bank in he's ang pow money and went over to United Square happily wanting to visit Esprit to buy my watch. But how the hell would I know practically the entire mall is closed. O.O" Goodness~ I thought it would be open considering it's the retail industry helloooo.. Like when I was working in Mango at Suntec in the past, it was never closed can.. Except that the first 2 days of CNY the non Chinese colleagues would have to work.. So to tap on the parking grace period, boyfriend and I decided to rush out ASAP but I didn't want to "waste" the trip there so we dropped by Swensens which happened to be operating and I treated dear and I to a cone of ice cream each! Haha it was hilarious...
From there, we headed back to boyfriend's place because (quoted from dear), my mother-in-law cooked today so I got to go and eat. Haha.. Simple dishes but it was still yummy because MY "mother-in-law" cooked it! & it's home-cooked foooooood! I loveeeeeeeee home-cooked foood! *Huge GRIN* =D
