It's Wednesday!
The first day I'm looking forward to this week. Not because it's mid week if that is what's going through your mind right now. ;D
That's because today's my long awaited nail appointment with Susan from Precious Nails, a home based nail salon in Tampines.


I went to her for the first time bout a month or so ago to get my first set of nail extensions removed. It was a pretty pre-traumatizing experience for me as I was told about how soft, thin and brittle our nails would become after gel extensions.

So anyway, I found Susan after doing some research on my all-time favourite, Google. Someone was giving a good review on her extensions removal from Susan & on top of that, she was by far the cheapest I found at that point of time so there! My first visit to Susan. Sweet Peggy was so nice to accompany me there for the first time considering it was an early Sunday morning and we went back really late on Saturday night.

Process was pretty painless other than some abrasion on my cuticles from all the filing and buffing. Note that's not because she's not skilled but my hands are the hands of a "Princess" literally they say. Too soft and thin every single time I visit any random manicurist, getting injured and seeing blood was the norm. So she's as I read about her, gentle and rather motherly to some extend. Hahaha.

I knew I could trust her and give her a try for my CNY nails. So I made my appointment for today. I seriously give up finding cheapo places and then get injured nails at the end of the day. Those close friends of mine know what's it like for me. So I'm determined to find someone good, skilled, whom I can trust and stick to her for as long as god knows. Lol. Fyi, for a home based nail salon, her services ain't the cheapest. But for me, I'm willing to pay for the assurance that my nails are in extremely safe hands. She specialises in gel nails and she's damn damn good. Throw her any complicated nail designs and she'll give you what you want.
Aight, for those of you who are interested, sorry her CNY slots are all fully booked. =S

I contemplated showing my very clean and simply done up Gel Overlay French Manicure as my BB's cam isn't doing my nails any justice at all. But oh whatever~ Here goes:

Would have been much prettier if my nails were longer but this is as much as I can take.
Anything longer, I'm gona start whining every other day. (Tested and Proven with my extensions done the other time. Hahaha!)

BTW, I don't get anything for "advertising" for Susan.
But just in case any girls out there suffers the same fate as me when it comes to a self-pampering mani or pedi, I wish all of you can solve this agony, just like I did. Good things ought to be shared no? ;)

I wana sincerely thank those who sms-ed, watsapp-ed or asked me face to face bout what happened to me as they didn't see me in the latest collection launch by Fabfad.
To me, I always thought nobody hardly ever knows that I'm modelling for them, besides my closest girlfriends. These queries, really took me aback and touched my heart. ((:

Some said they weren't used to the new face.
Some said unpleasant things.
Some said both of us had our own strengths.


Whatever it is, I thank you all for your feedback. I'm neutral against all these comments.
I don't know her personally but I know of her existence due to her popularity somehow. She's in this trade definitely longer than I do and imho, she's pretty sweet looking and has her charisma. Whatever I heard, I'm just gona take it with a pinch of salt, if not, none.
I don't deny I want to work my way up to where she is one day. (Perhaps.) I might succeed. I might not. Whatever happens tomorrow, none of us know.
This modelling industry, I've learnt, is very small. I certainly do not wish to step onto those above me to help get me above em.
Not because it's a small industry and I wana be a fake 'angel'.
It's a matter of principles.
I will not stoop down to underground or bimbotic or hypocrisy acts to succeed (IF I ever do that is), neither will I allow myself to be taken advantaged of.
This is me and my stand for you.
I'm a strong believer of 真材实料. LOL. ;D
